Financial Management Responsibilities:
As the Finance Coordinator, you will oversee the financial management of the region and field offices, ensuring compliance with IR financial policies and procedures. Your duties include:
- Reviewing daily financial transactions/documents to ensure compliance with IR financial policies.
- Managing liquidity in the region and field offices to ensure uninterrupted project activities.
- Timely preparation of monthly bank and cash reconciliation.
- Monitoring daily activity reports of the area and field offices and ensuring accurate posting of transactions.
- Resolving long outstanding receivables and payables.
- Updating bank signatories as required and maintaining registers of fixed assets.
- Managing shared costs according to policies and procedures.
Tax Management and Regulatory Compliance:
You will be responsible for tax management and regulatory requirements, including:
- Deduction of sales/income tax from vendor/consultant/employee payments as per government tax laws.
- Submission of monthly/quarterly sales tax returns to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
- Facilitate tax audit by providing necessary documents and details.
- Conduct tax sessions and provide tax related assistance to area and field finance staff.
Support for program team and capacity building:
Additionally, you will support the program team in budget preparation and management. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparation of budget based on activities specified in proposals including ABC costing.
- Sharing monthly budget variance analysis reports with the program team.
- Conducting orientation sessions for new entrants on financial systems and processes.
- Capacity building of financial staff and community organizations on financial management and budgeting.
Operational and Organizational Responsibilities:
You will also focus on coordination, records management, communication, planning, leadership, and organizational priorities. These include:

Person Details:
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance/ACCA/CA eligible.
- At least 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 9 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience managing the key needs of humanitarian donors.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and ERP systems.
- Strong emotional intelligence, flexibility and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to continuous improvement.
